I specialize in user-interface architecture and prototyping new interfaces for the purpose of investor pitches, board presentations, marketing demos, usability testing, and final product implementations. I am currently serving as Head of UX at Montage Studio. The state of UX development is hindered by the lack of prototyping tools available today. InterfaceBuilder in NeXTSTEP set the standard for how quickly and efficiently designers and programmers can work together and create apps. That was 25 years ago, and their is no equivalent tool available for cross-platform, responsive web-app development. At Montage Studio I am building a next generation authoring platform to make life easier for designers, and developers. Before Montage Studio, my most recent notable gig was Director of User Experience for FanTV where I spent three years building a discovery engine for movie and tv content. I have a passion for UX that makes my brain hurt all the time, so I try to design experiences that give it a break.
