Philosophy and General ApproachAdopting an approach to both teaching and research takes in socio-cultural-technical view of the impacts and implications of IT/IS/ICT from the perspectives of the business and organisations, their management, and people in their various guises of user, customer, supplier, and employee. This perspective encompasses the macro or holistic to provide breadth and understanding of the bigger picture and the micro or focused for examination or intervention, seeking to increase cross-boundary understanding. Currently, I am engaging with businesses directly through knowledge transfer partnerships; I’m open to discussions regarding future potential partnerships and relationship opportunities. I am also pursuing a number of projects that are both academic and business focused. I have a range of publications in journals, books and conferences proceedings.Awarded an 'Outstanding' for the recently completed third Knowledge Transfer Partnership working with colleague Fefie Dotsika and partners RPC [Reynolds Porter Chamberlain] LLP, to develop a Social Media Framework to support Knowledge Management.
