I have the pleasure of building programs that will benefit all students through exposure to the entrepreneurial mindset, experiential learning with businesses operating in students' chosen industries, and bringing real-world perspectives to Career and Technical Education programs. I manage Frenship's Community Partnership Program as well as grant writing and funding for Frenship ISD and build new programs at a district level. I also manage the District's partner-based food program called "Tiger Bites" which assists in providing food security to students over Winter Break, Summer Break, and weekends during the school year.

I oversaw student development activities including: social media review, headshots, workshops, class presentations, interview preparation and the Student Business Council. I taught workshops on topics like job searching, interviewing, networking and personal branding. In addition, I conducted mock interviews with feedback for students preparing for the interview process and scheduled employer-led mock interviews as well. I was also responsible for events like etiquette dinners, forums, panel discussions, networking groups, and graduating senior events. I managed the 12-member Student Business Council. These students were paid via scholarship and collectively worked throughout the week providing general office assistance.

This position relied on flexibility and adaptability and I built many valuable skills here including: media relations, communications, volunteer recruitment and management, event planning and management, strategic planning, community engagement, training and most importantly public speaking.

I consistently managed a caseload of up to 50 clients and assisted children from age 4-18 with varying mental health diagnoses in finding local services, acted as an advocate to their local school system, and provided rehabilitation skills training for the entire family.This position provided me valuable time management and self-motivation experience. I communicated with many various stakeholders and became accustomed to working unusual hours and responding to unexpected needs.

U.S. House Of Representatives

I assisted with general office work, attended Congressional hearings, interacted with members of Congress, lobbyists, and military general staff. I was proud to represent the Congressman at receptions and Texas State Society events. I particularly enjoyed providing tours of the U.S. Capitol to visiting constituents and dignitaries. I not only utilized and honed professional communication abilities but also had the opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of the Legislative Branch of the U.S. Government.

I collected, organized and checked anesthesia billing paperwork for accuracy. During my tenure reduced billing error and loss of revenue by approximately 18% through new processes and accountability. In addition, I worked independent of direct on-site supervision and built relationships with physicians as well as multiple departments in both TTUHSC and University Medical Center.

I provided all parental care for eight abused/neglected boys Friday-Sunday weekly. This care included transportation, meals, discipline, punishment, entertainment, and medication. Age ranges varied from elementary to high school. Building relationships with those boys as they became young men was an incredibly valuable experience for me.
