In this role I have learned the importance of premier customer service and my passion to help others. Currently I am the head of the Frozen Foods Department and have gained essential leadership experience by assigning necessary tasks to the other Frozen Clerks in my department. Some of my other current responsibilities include training new associates and mentoring existing ones with some of the knowledge I have acquired throughout my employment. Through the utilization of store computer tools and programs I have helped maintain an accurate shelf count and improved the overall presentation of merchandise in my department.

With this amazing and unique experience I was able to observe the processing of new federal inmates and how to conduct research in the criminal justice field. I performed general office duties such as filing, answering telephone inquiries, and handling routine correspondence both within and out of the office. Furthermore, I became proficient in handling case sensitive material and learned the importance of maintaining the integrity of these important documents.

I became accustomed to being flexible and adaptable to help achieve organizational goals. In this position I learned how valuable time management and how to effectively work under pressure.
