In fact there was one instance whereby a client entrusted me with dealing with a HMRC enquiry and the client did not even need to turn up! My work at A P Robinson & Co is heavily geared towards conducting statutory audits as and when they are required for our clients. This involves checking systems, advising on deficiencies in controls and managing this process. I endeavour to reduce the tax liability for my clients and I proud of the level of service I provide. I like to get involved with my clients accounts, where a lot of accountants say they "understand their clients business" I truly do get involved and go above the call of duty for them and have done so on a number of occasions.

During my time at Forrester Boyd I managed a client base of many different sized businesses. I was responsible for reviewing the work of assistants, preparation of accounts and other ad hoc accountancy duties.
