As a teacher at West Vancouver Schools for over 27 years, I specialize in education technology and digital curriculum development and delivery. I work both in the classroom and as a school-based Education Technology Specialist, supporting administration and teachers in integrating and utilizing technologies for teaching and learning. I have contributed to various digital initiatives and projects in the district, such as blended learning, iPads in the classroom, digital literacy, and maker spaces. I have also developed and delivered a 3D modeling course for Digital Media Academy's K-12 eLearning platform. Additionally, I work as a search engine evaluator at iSoftStone North America, evaluating search engine results for quality and accuracy. I am passionate about enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes through innovative and effective use of digital tools and resources. I have shared my expertise and experience with colleagues and pre-service teachers through workshops, guest lectures, and presentations on topics such as self-directed learning, learning management systems, Google Classroom, and 3D design and printing. I also maintained a blog (now defunct) that was used as a resource by various educational organizations and publications.
