Provided risk identification and mitigation planning and implementation. Accomplishment Highlights: * Worldwide IT Consolidation: Overcame challenges associated with major consolidation of HP’s World Wide IT development support, despite being the newest member of a 7person team, all team responsibilities were consolidated into 1 position for 2 years. Evaluated and streamlined existing processes to reduce costs and maximize efficiency. Reduced delivery lead times by executing difficult tasks through collaboration with other IT organizations and use of detailed status reports. Earned 2 Vice President Awards and 2 CIO awards. * Offshore Systems Operation: Developed and implemented offshore systems operation methodologies using repeatable systems support processes and remote operations monitoring. * Compute Environment Deployment: Played an instrumental role in deployment of ASICS compute environment. Enabled consolidation of 9 remote-compute lab environments, data centers and removed $1 million cost per build while allowing ASICS developer to simulate chip builds. * Cloud Integration Team: Served as a member of HP’s IT Cloud private cloud integration team. Removed obstacles and enabled application developers to configure servers rapidly and reduce the average 6-week delivery time to on-demand application infrastructure configuration

Managed infrastructure requests for Product Development IT organization. Additional involvement included plan-of-record delivery, escalation management, and merger and acquisition support. Initiated the team reduction/consolidation initiative completed in 2013.

Managed 6 development lab infrastructures, including Footprint, Power, HVAC, and Network. Monitored and managed power monitoring system for NSK/HP Labs. Oversaw new hardware and software delivery, as well as new products integration. Provided network design, management, and support (WAN/LAN). Acted as project manager for group projects.Accomplishment Highlights:* WAN Cost Reduction: Greatly reduced costs of wide area networking by enabling use of new SWAN product. Reduced infrastructure costs by eliminating large WAN network cabling, as well as high cost of WAN networking providers, space and other DTE/DE equipment. Key actions included partnering with system and network developers to identify bugs preventing wide use of concentrators.*Offshore Raised-Floor Data Center: Spearheaded intense, 4-month completion of behind-schedule installation for first offshore raised-floor data center in India. Completion launched Tandem’s offshore development and served as model for other IT companies. Key actions included driving local teams to compel vendor completion of building and offshore lab, as well as training local IT technicians in offshore practices still used today

Promoted to manage out-of-box quality program for nonstop Cupertino manufacturing facility, as well as Top 10 Defects program. Accomplishment Highlights:* Quality Improvement: Drove out-of-box quality from 78% to 99% error-free shipments.Previous Position, MANUFACTURING TEST & INTEGRATION SUPERVISOR: Managed team of 11 integration and test technicians, 5 peripheral test technicians, 3 power supply technicians, and 3 configuration analysts to schedule and deliver completely tested and configured mainframe systems.
