A qualified banker with 15 years' Corporate Finance experience, predominantly in multi-jurisdictional debt/equity restructuring.Strong financial acumen combined with excellent project leadership skills and a talent for forming constructive working relationships. A solid track record across a broad range of asset classes including SME, real estate, manufacturing, shipping, oil and gas, leveraged finance and infrastructure.Experience working with Private Equity, managing a $750m distressed loan portfolio on behalf of a US based Investment Fund.Team leadership experience, managing a team of 15 staff based across Edinburgh and London, overseeing the turnaround of a loan portfolio with a combined value of c. £2bn. Strong track record working both directly with businesses on a bilateral basis or leading more complex syndicated transactions where a calm and methodical approach drives the alignment of diverse stakeholder groups behind a common goal.Extensive Project and Programme Management experience, accountable up to Board level for the delivery of strategic change programmes across a range of disciplines including IT, Credit Risk and Commercial business areas. Responsibility spanned stakeholder management, project initiation, business case production and presentation and all aspects of reporting.
