Member of Delta’s Supply Chain conversion team responsible for converting legacy material master data, Purchase Orders and Contracts to SAP using BAPIs and BDC (batch input). I also developed the HR mini master data conversion from Tesseract to SAP using LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench). I assisted the Delta business team with developing functional specifications and worked with the technical team leads to develop technical specifications. I developed function exits for SAP’s Data Retention Tool (DART) for converting currencies and quantities. Also provided training to Delta employees in ABAP coding techniques, ABAP performance and BDC processing. I was also a member of the technical team responsible for evaluating and upgrading from version 4.6b to 4.6c1 (aerospace and defense).

Uploaded data to SAP from legacy systems using SAP’s Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) and by developing BDC updates. These loads were for the MM and HR modules. Also developed several HR – Payroll & Benefits reports as well as several COPA reports and user exits. I was also part of the upgrade team testing customized ABAPs from version 3.1G to 4.0B .

I developed new ABAPs using Screen Painter and Menu Painter. These ABAPs were mostly SD related providing sales order information and delivery information. An example is an ABAP I developed to show order items that were completed earlier than planned making them ready to ship however, the schedule line of the item was in the future and no delivery was created. This program executed an availability check for the order with transaction VA02 and saved the order changing the schedule line date to current date.

My main function was to analyze financial and sales related ABAPs that the business users determined to be incorrect. These ABAPs were modified for efficiency and accuracy. I also developed a series of ABAPs to extract and download Sales and Customer data and reports to Windows NT for use by the Sales Force.

Converted Legacy Customer Master data from DB2 to SAP R3. This conversion included several reportsused for verifying the data. I also developed 2 user exits and 5 reports for calculating salesman/broker commissions, along with these reports I had to produce an interface with accounts payable for payments to the brokers. I also participated in testing customized ABAP programs for a 3.1G to 3.1H upgrade.

Developed ABAP programs to interface SAP R3 to Legacy systems with the FI modules, BDC loads to MM from Legacy systems and extensions to SD. Some of these included loading material master for China, and Bill of Materials for China. I also setup batch jobs, provided production support and reviewed others code for efficiency and Kodak standards as well as team leader for a group of 5 junior ABAP programmers.

Converted R2 ABAP programs to the R3 system for the SD, PP, MM and FI modules. These Abaps reported information related to sales orders, production history, material movements and material values, inventory, A/P and A/R. I was also responsible for taking problem calls related to any existing R3 ABAP

Developed ABAP programs to convert R2 master data from the R2 to the R3 systems for the SD, FI and MM modules. The programs extracted customer master data, material inventories, and ledger balances from R2, converted them to the R3 configurations and uploaded the data to R3 using batch input sessions. I also developed several ABAPs in R3 for reporting A/R trial balances and open orders, A/P blocked invoices, grouping invoices by state for tax reporting, comparing material standard prices with future prices, listing bill of material and routings by material and plants, reassigning sales reps to new sales groups.

Designed and developed ABAP programs for the RK, RF and RM modules. These ABAP’s performed real-time updating to SAP databases with input from legacy systems using CPIC. I also performed maintenance and enhancements to existing ABAP code
