Project Manager – Data Center Migration and DirecTV Projects July 2013 – August 2015• Worked closely with the account client decision makers and successfully increased profit margins by up-selling 80% of my clients to next generation solutions while transitioning their infrastructure from antiquated data centers to next generation data centers. • Managed the design meetings and decisions throughout cross functional internal departments and teams to insure the project was implemented successfully and on schedule.

• Insured network infrastructure was in place to support DirecTV’s business objective’s 3 – 5 years down the road. Accomplished PCI compliancy for the account. Saved $250k annually on vendor contract negations. Reduced hardware and date center footprint cost for the account while improving performance.

Network Services Delivery Manager – DirecTV Account June 2010 – Feb. 2012• Reduced network operational cost by 25% with 8 onshore and 4 offshore direct reports by improving operational efficiencies. This allowed me to successfully negotiate a 3-year contract extension.

Led the team through an escalation (RED Account) situation while supporting the customer business. Assisted the interim manager assigned to the account with interviewing and hiring of network resources. Trained and led the team in support of the DirecTV account.Took over as the project lead assisting the network delivery manager.Assisted in the initial design of the new Data Center located in COS. Assisted with the PCI project design and approach. Helped successfully offshore the L1/L2 network duties of the account to the Costa Rica Bestshore team. Performed KT sessions, established accounts and mentored Bestshore team on operational duties.

• Network Manager - DirecTV Billing systems network, including the support of the local area network and Datacenters in Colorado Springs. • Responsibilities included the following:• Design, procurement and implementation of approx. 36 remote site networks across the United States and India. • Remote and local networks consisted of PIX firewalls, Checkpoint Firewalls, VPN’s, 7200, 7500 and 3600 routers, Catalyst 4000, 5000 and 5500 switches, 6500 Multilayer switches, 2600 access servers along with Network Associates “Sniffer” analyzers, HP Openview, Trend and nGenius monitoring tools. • Also have hands-on experience with Cisco CSS Switches and Local Directors for load balancing web farm servers that support a CRM infrastructure. • WAN technologies included ATM, Frame Relay, ISDN and some switch 56k.• Utilized CWSI to monitor and manage DirecTV WAN circuits. • Pager rotation as required. • Worked with and through site analysts to develop service needs criteria, system configurations, and nonstandard service delivery requirements for DirecTV and other contracts. • Worked as the lead Engineer for the group.
