• Operational responsibility for the Cross Trust Pharmacy Service with full responsibility for the cross Trust Dispensary, Medicines Information, Clinical Governance, Clinical Commissioning and Information Technology/automation functions of the Directorate.• Responsibility for a Trust wide medicines management governance and training framework.• Manage the Pharmacy Budgets and support best practice in Pharmaceutical Care to the Trust ensuring that a high quality Pharmacy service is provided efficiently, safely and within budgeted costs.• Lead the Pharmacy Service at Harefield Hospital ensuring that services are provided efficiently, safely and in accordance with the needs of specialist users and in line with the Pharmacy directorates and Trust's strategic direction.• General management lead for Infection Prevention and Control for the Pharmacy Department, ensuring that infection prevention and control is an integral part of service delivery.

Lead for medicines commissioning including:• Implementation of commissioning policies• Delivering annual commissioning intentions for high cost medicines • Deliver medicines CIPs, medicines-related QIPP and CQUIN• Building interface relationships between commissioners and provider• Support annual business planning and budget setting for medicines• Contribute to local medicines optimisation agenda
