I assist on ADHD assessments, including administering and scoring the DIVA-5 diagnostic interview, ensuring accurate symptom evaluation and clinical insight.I administer and observe QB Tests, assessing clients physical movements, attention, and behavioral responses. I assist in the interpretation of test data to inform clinical diagnoses.I write up diagnostic reports that detail the outcomes of assessments, providing a clear interpretation of the findings.I engage in clinical supervision with Dr. Jessica McKnight, ensuring adherence to best practices and ongoing professional development.

As an intensive case manager, I have a case load of 18 individuals who I make house visits and phone calls to. The frequency of these varies on a case-by-case basis due to the needs of the individual. I work closely with each individual, to gage their needs and take their feedback into account. I actively risk assess on each visit and engage in regular check ins to ensure the level of support is adequate and make changes where needed. I also conduct welfare checks and if necessary, refer individuals on to stabilisation and/or detox programmes as well as linking them in with mental health supports.I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve greater levels of support for service users.I also work closely with my team leader, who actively engages in weekly one-to-one meetings where they give feedback which I incorporate into my work.

While acting as a crisis volunteer, I managed crises consisting of suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, and mania. I received comprehensive training in this area and further developed skills such, active listening, communication, problem-solving, self-care, cultural competency, and stress management.I have gained valuable experience with remote working and have better insight into the work of the 50808 text line

While working with ALONE, I fostered relationships and engaged in conversations with 10+ older people per day with the friendly calls service. These calls would consist of older individuals telling me about their day and plans they had for the week. The weekly calls helped the older people to maintain connections and engage in social interaction. As part of this position, I received comprehensive training on how to navigate the online platform.I have gained valuable skills in communication, active listening, time-management, and dealing with sensitive issues.
