• Was responsible for the design and implementation of POS (Point of Sale) integrations that were responsible for pulling order data from various restaurants so that the orders could ultimately be built by the robotic makeline.• Learned Rust and Built several of the integral software features on the robotic makeline including the machine configuration server, order item tracker, printer driver, and the dispense server, which established the design pattern still used for generic loop-able motor routines that control the dispensing of food onto bowls.• Also had the opportunity to build out the Partner API end to end which exposed the ability for our partners to build out their own UI integrations with the machine via REST endpoints and Webhooks. This work was critical in allowing Chipotle Mexican Grill, one of our biggest investors and partners, to utilize our machine.

• Joined the Vehicle Applications team to work on a set of factory manufacturing applications and internal tools to help ramp up production of the R1 and RPV programs.• Worked with leadership, general assembly engineers, OTA team, hardware team, and other stakeholders to create hardware and factory software integrations that could help speed up cycle time during the production of the R1 and RPV programs.

• Joined the Digital Technology team to establish the first React/Typescript application for accepting vehicle preorders which grew into Configurator (rivian.com/configurator) and Account App (rivian.com/account) and many internal tools.• Established the authentication and identity management strategy on rivian.com/account, including the initial email signup blast converting preorder holders to account holders.• Helped start the first shared components and shared component storybook instance that is now used company wide across both customer facing applications (https://www.rivian.com, configurator, account), as well as internal applications (Order Manager App etc.)• Built out the Order Manager internal tool end to end which is now used by customer service agents, Rivian Guides, and across retail locations to view and edit orders.• Built out the Fleet Order Manager internal tool within FleetOs in collaboration with Amazon which is now used by both Amazon and other enterprise fleet customers.

• Worked on the UI team to design, wireframe, prototype, and build the original platform product and internal tools using React, Flow, Redux, Saga, Jest, Adobe Illustrator, Balsamiq, ES7 and other cutting edge technology. • Utilizing Agile software development systems and continuous integration to organize sprints and develop new prototypes and features rapidly.

• Worked on the legacy express app on both the front and back end using JavaScript, ES6, Node.js, Express, Pug, and Google Cloud Datastore NoSQL Database.• Lead the initiative to establish code quality and style standards for the engineering team, built out the ESLint scripts and code coverage reporting systems with Istanbul, and lead efforts to expand unit and automated API test coverage using relevant technologies such as Mocha and Chai, Sinon, and Proxyquire.

• Worked on the ExchangeCollective Web Dashboard for their “Save the Sale” App.• Collaborated on the new efforts to redesign the IOS App with React Native. • Node.js, Sails.js, and MySQL on the backend, and jQuery, React, vanilla JS, CSS, and HTML on the frontend.

• Collaborated on a site redesign to improve general mobile responsiveness and the UI of the landing page.• Worked on the redesign of the sidebar to improve sorting functionality and the UX across the marketplace. • The front end is built with ERB, HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, and Sass, and the back end is built with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Nokogiri and Postgresql.

• Launched our Google for Non-Profits account and collaborated with web developers, marketing firm, and other cross-functional teams to improve our site Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and increase site traffic.• Launched and managed the program at three school sites across the Bay Area and led mentor recruitment and mentoring workshops.

• Selected from over 40,000 applicants to teach in under-resourced public schools across the United States and taught middle and high school sciences at Benjamin Banneker Elementary School and C.F Rowley Alternative School in New Orleans, Louisiana. • Designed high quality lessons and analyzed student performance data to continuously improve the science curriculum for students. • Contributed quality instruction materials to the open-source curriculum community. • Engaged in rigorous professional development sessions addressing the design and implementation of quality curricula and instruction as well as social and political issues and effective leadership.
