• Responsible for maintaining a close working relationship with Kaiser Security Administration• Ensures that the Kaiser Permanente Regional Security Director is advised of impending or actual security related incidents of a significant or sensitive nature.• Achieves Security Objectives while supporting other Hospital Departments in achieving their objectives• Ensures in association with the Kaiser Permanente Regional Security Director the provision of contract security services within the Panorama City Service Area, which includes Hospitals, Medical Centers, Medical Office Buildings, Research Data Centers, and other associated facilities.• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the Security Department activities within the assigned Service Area.• Ensures compliance of all State & Federal laws and regulations including OSHA, & JCAHO.• Ensuring contract compliance• Monitoring selection, training and benefits program to ensure consistency• Developing management potential in all staff• Developing annual budget and managing P&L statement• Analyzing variances in P&L and developing action plans• Ensuring timely submission of Accounts Payable and Receivables• Ensuring payroll and invoices are timely and accurate• Responsible for implementation of programs that control and reduce costs
