The Business Analytics Center was established to facilitate engagement with corporate partners, our top students, and the world-class research faculty at Georgia Tech. I was brought in by school leadership to turn-around this struggling center and experiential learning program. • Turned-around the struggling center and have made it self-funding / self-sustaining by working with the team and external companies to define annual engagement program benefits and structure, while also reducing costs, eliminating waste and other losses, while also implementing new sources of revenue and cost-recovery for the center. • Client companies and Executive Council Members / Sponsors include; The Home Depot, UPS, NCR, Coca-Cola, TK Elevator, PGA, NFL, and AT&T among others. • Center achieved a renewal / reengagement rate with sponsors of >80%, with many sponsors remaining engaged for 3 to 5 years. • Redeveloped and have run the class program successfully for six years delivering over 36 consulting engagements with top graduate, undergraduate and PhD • Redesigned and continually improved the experiential learning program / project-based course at the heart of the centers program. Developed and implemented new key analytics, metrics, forecasting techniques and internal management reports. New methodologies resulted in significant improvement in forecast accuracy and earlier identification of operational problems and markets trends impacting performance.
