Post supplier selection, worked with tool shops and molders to maintain quoted cost and achieve established timelines.o Successfully launched P1 Blender Project 100% on time and 13% under budgeted unit cost.o Participated in hand mixer housing Design of Experiments with Capital Tooling & Supplier Quality teams to reduce scrap rate from 40% to 5%, generating a cost avoidance of $100,000.o Collaborated cross-functionally in Color Workshops to increase speed to market.o Led cost reduction activities for Torrent Blender resulting in the elimination of die-cast machining equipment totaling $290,000; as well as the reduction of secondary injection mold equipment totaling $162,000. Participated in die-cast machining in-sourcing initiative to capitalize on internal core competencies & open capacity within the KitchenAid facility.
