With over 12 years of experience in founding and leading a non-profit organization, I am passionate about ending generational poverty one person, one family, and one community at a time. As the President and Co-Founder of SEEDS OF LIFE INTERNATIONAL, I work with key leaders to raise funds, strategize building projects, and forecast literacy programs in the lower Amazon Basin of Brazil. I also lead teams of humanitarian aid volunteers to sponsor medical and dental clinics, distribute emergency food supplies, and facilitate leadership development workshops and seminars.Before dedicating myself to the non-profit sector, I served as a Police Lieutenant for the City of Vacaville for four years, where I was responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a division of the police department. I managed the field training program, the employee wellness program, and the fleet operations, and received multiple awards and nominations for excellence in service and performance. I also have a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration in Non-Profit Management, which have enhanced my skills in team building, conflict resolution, organizational change, and policy development.
