I have been practicing law, with a focus on injury law, for over 20 years. My fundamental belief is that everyone is entitled to have their rights, their recovery, their dignity and their future safeguarded if they have been injured due to the negligence of someone else (whether an individual or a corporation). I have a great group of lawyers and paralegals helping me to make sure that you get the attention you need on your case. While there are thousands of accidents and injuries every day, none are exactly the same as your case and we promise to treat you with the respect and concern you deserve. I am a certified Civil Trial Specialist by the NBLA and the TCCLES and I’m very proud of that distinction since less than 1% of attorneys in the United States have it. I enjoy lecturing at legal seminars across the state of Tennessee and the country so I can share my knowledge and experience with others attorneys in order that they can better serve their injured clients. On a national level, I am an active member of the American Association for Justice and was elected as Vice Chair of the Aviation Section of the AAJ for the 2013/14 term. I am very proud that my fellow attorneys voted me Best Lawyers in America for my work in Products Liability cases.I am admitted to practice before all Tennessee State Courts including: The Tennessee Supreme Court; Tennessee Court of Appeals as well as all County Chancery and Circuit Courts across the State.I earned Business Degrees from Volunteer State Community College in 1986 and Cumberland University in 1988 and then worked days over the next few years to put himself through law school at night, graduating from the Nashville School of Law in 1993. I’ve lived in Middle Tennessee all my life and am proudly raising my two daughters with my wife Emily.
