I am a full Admiral in the Royal Navy, currently working in NATO. I’ve loved my career. I’ve piloted helicopters, commanded ships (and driven desks!) and seen the world. My inspiration has come from the rich variety of my roles and responsibilities but, above all else, from the fantastic people with whom I have served. My journey from state school to Knighted Admiral has delivered fun, fulfilment and reward. Moreover, it has shaped me into who I am. My long track record of achievement continues to be delivered through inclusive leadership, innovative thinking and taking measured risk. I enjoy extracting simple solutions from complex problems and turning them into successful, measurable, outcomes that inspire people to achieve more.
