As a senior developer on the TheraCall application development team, designed, developed and implemented complex technical solutions.• Most of the work was in C# and Transact-SQL. • Worked with multiple Agile teams, using TFS to manage work, and collaborating continuously with developers, testers, business analysts, and clients.• Led development of the ICD-10 Project to update our systems to support Medical coding for any version (ICD-9, ICD-10, etc.). Designed the SQL Server database, web forms (ASP.NET) and web services; created the API reference and established coding standards for the dev team. Performed code reviews to insure compliance.• Converted multiple VB6 codebases to .NET and C# (a large team effort). Created the overall application infrastructure and the common library, and cross-reference documents for developers to know which VB6 objects were migrated and where. Set coding standards and performed code reviews to insure junior developers applied best design and coding practices.

Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services (contract)As a member of the UK 2011 Census Project ‘Coding’ agile development team, developed applications to convert census data to standardized formats and codes. Accomplishments:• Developed C# WinForms applications to generate XML files for processing of Census forms, including enhancements and bug fixes as needed, and database scripts (Oracle).• For version control and problem tracking, used IBM Rational ClearQuest and ClearCase.

Senior developer for FINRA’s legacy PROCTOR software development team. PROCTOR is a comprehensive exam presentation and administration system. The team used the Scrum agile development process. Accomplishments:• Developed a VB.NET WinForms tool to manage the many DSNs needed to connect the front-end applications to the various databases as needed (dev, qc, unit test, production, etc.).• Developed fixes and new code in VB.NET, VB6, VBScript, and C++ on the front-end, and Korn Shell scripts, C, and ESQL/C programs on the backend (running Solaris OS and interfacing with Informix and Oracle databases).• For version control and problem tracking, used PVCS and Tracker initially, then Borland StarTeam for both.• Created code design and business requirements documents to support development of its replacement, PROCTOR II.

The RBC processed retirement benefit claims for Federal retirees and survivor benefits for deceased employees.
