Accomplishments:• Developed a VB.NET WinForms tool to manage the many DSNs needed to connect the front-end applications to the various databases as needed (dev, qc, unit test, production, etc.).• Developed fixes and new code in VB.NET, VB6, VBScript, and C++ on the front-end, and Korn Shell scripts, C, and ESQL/C programs on the backend (running Solaris OS and interfacing with Informix and Oracle databases).• For version control and problem tracking, used PVCS and Tracker initially, then Borland StarTeam for both.• Created code design and business requirements documents to support development of its replacement, PROCTOR II. -
