This coupled with my wall street experience of having both faced and been the customer allows me to look at the financial world through a unique lens.I have over two decades of experience in financial markets. Beginning my career as an FX derivative market maker, I was an integral part in the development of the emerging market option space from its infancy.I successfully built sales and trading businesses at some of the largest financial institutions, taking on entrepreneurial roles where I was responsible for increased customer satisfaction and revenue.While at Bank of America, I revitalized critical customer business segments and increased revenues by over 150% in under 3 years. I was then recruited by a former colleague to build UniCredit’s emerging markets business. There I took a book of business generating less than $1mm per year and turned it into a $15mm a year business. Seeking new challenges and the opportunity to leverage my derivative trading, risk management and operational experience, I moved to the buyside joining a proprietary trading firm as a portfolio and business manager. While there, I continued to develop proven investment and risk management tools which have led to a track record of positive returns for every year of my career. Inspired by the technological progress that has occurred in financial markets, I have spent the last three years immersed in the digital landscape gaining the knowledge and experience needed to redesign banking and financial markets for the 21st century.
