Coordinate all aspects of SFFILM's Education Program, designed to expose school-aged children (first grade through high school) to international cinema and to use film as an innovative educational tool. Spearheaded program’s expansion from limited film festival outreach to year-round program. Responsible for film selection, target audience research, study guide development, event coordination, and leading/facilitating all presentations. Extensive direct contact with hundreds of educators; work directly with directors, producers, documentary filmmakers, and other film industry professionals to coordinate presentations for kids; facilitate filmmaker visits to classrooms. Have put together a total of over 1,200 educational programs with a cumulative attendance of over 250,000 students, teachers, and families.Began my time at SFFILM as an intern and then became Education Program Manager as my first official position.

Served as stand-in manager of newly restored art house cinema. Responsible for daily operations.

Recruited and managed more than 275 volunteers for 27th annual international film festival. Managed and coordinated events; assisted with marketing, distribution, and scheduling.

Supervised daily operating procedures for specialty running store; organized road races and store-sponsored runs; presented informational seminars to beginning runners; supervised volunteers; trained new employees.

Organized language school’s daily class schedules; managed office; conducted orientation for new students on culture and geography of Chicago. Daily interaction and relationship building with international students and teachers from Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
