My work is focused on Africa and the expansion of organisations (local and international) that balance economic and social impact across the continent. Achieving economic and social impact is increasingly key to organisational success, and the failure to do so can adversely affect companies’ reputation and future endeavours. As a consultant and academic, I have specialized in aiding organisations to find this balance, and have advised several organisations, across sectors, on market entry and expansion in Africa.I work for and with companies and governments who believe growth is not a zero-sum game. Companies and governments who, in seeking growth opportunities for themselves, seek to make a positive impact for others. My advisory, research and consulting work with the UNDP, business schools and other organisations, focusses on African economies, renewable energy, emerging markets, education and gender. My mission is to work with African and international organisations in Sub-Saharan Africa, supporting businesses to thrive and make a meaningful impact.
