Data is Chaos.I do what I can with the raw sources I have access to, using whatever tools that are available, to the limit of my understanding of the underlying business domain. The results will never be perfect, will never match any overly-optimistic assumptions. But I believe it is the only path: enduring grind with no magical bullet or AI unicorn. Proficient with SAS and SQL, learning Julia and PowerBI, exploring GCP/BigQuery/GA. Late converter to Data Science, I used to make/code games. Given that I am more than a few steps behind peers on the academia accreditation front, I tend to avoid formal structure and orthodoxy in DS (or I simply don’t know).
