My husband, Lee, takes care of the artwork, administrative tasks, and accounting, so Angie--our sales person--and I can remain active in the community and build relationships! I love meeting with clients, networking, and learning about others’ businesses to help them achieve success, whatever that may look like to them!I fulfill the role of marketing consultant and promotional item expert. Since I have worked in this industry for so many years, I know the suppliers, print methods, and the nuances associated with various products, which is so valuable in helping clients get what they need, when they need it, and at a price point that works for them.I always enjoy meeting new people and learning about the exciting businesses that are constantly developing. Years ago, my husband and his business partner, at the time, ran a small ad agency, Pilgrim Page, Inc. They built websites, developed marketing materials, and created logos for clients. Once people had a fancy new logo, they wanted to put it on everything! Out of need, they developed a promotional division, Absorbent, Ink., and that’s when I joined the team as their 5th employee—the Vice President and Director of Sales. Over the course of five years, we quickly grew, adding catalog, IT, samples, marketing, and estimating departments, and suddenly we had a team of fifty! Absorbent, Ink. was a web-based company that sold promotional products to people all over the world.When my husband and business partner sold the business, I wanted to provide clients with a more personal experience built on strong relationships, which resulted in Snap Promotions! One of the things I am most proud of is that even after we let our employees know we were down-sizing and selling the company, they still voted us as an industry “Best Place to Work” in 2009! We were also named as an Inc. magazine "500 America's Fastest Growing Private Companies" - twice.
