As the Director of Intellectual Property at Teradyne, a leading supplier of automation equipment for test and industrial applications, I oversee and execute the global IP strategy and operations for the company. I have a PhD in Mechanical/Control Engineering, an MBA in Finance and Strategy Management, and USPTO Registration since 2002.With extensive experience in IP management, I have developed and managed robust patent portfolios covering diverse technologies, such as robotics, control and signal processing, data and telecommunications, wireless, software, semiconductor, home networking, consumer electronics, AI, and machine learning. I have also successfully supported patent licensing, M&A, and litigation activities, providing due diligence, claim charting, non-infringement, invalidity, and patentability analysis, as well as product clearance and IP landscaping. Additionally, I have collaborated with internal and external stakeholders, such as R&D, business units, outside counsel, and industry standards, to align the IP strategy with the company's vision and goals.
