I’m an architect and designer driven by a passion for pushing the boundaries of architecture, design, and gastronomy. With over 15 years of experience and holding a BSc Hons in Architecture and a Diploma in Architecture (RIBA II) from the University of East London, I have dedicated my career to integrating innovative design solutions with creative architectural principles. My work spans diverse projects, including public and residential construction, interior and exterior renovations, lighting designs, and theatre set designs in Greece and Japan.As Principal at Studio 1:1 Architecture & Design in Athens, my projects have gained international recognition, including exhibitions at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition. I co-founded Karpos Co., an award-winning startup focusing on innovative artisan food products that highlight traditional Greek ingredients. Under my leadership, Karpos has received numerous accolades, including 12 Gold Awards from the Guild of Fine Food and a 3rd Prize at the European Food Innovation Competition, Ecotrophelia. Our work was featured in the documentary “When Tomatoes Met Wagner,” which contributed to Greece’s submission for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.In addition to my architectural and culinary pursuits, I am committed to education and community involvement. I’ve taught at TASIS England and organized workshops and courses in architecture, design, and gastronomy, also contributing to conferences like “From STEM to STE[A]M and ST[R]EAM.” Recognized as the “2017 Culinary Ambassador of Athens” by the World Food Travel Association, I have been honored for my contributions to promoting Athens’ culinary traditions and food product development.Fluent in English and experienced in design and project management, I am a Chartered Member of the Technical Chambers of Greece and an associate member of the Slow Food Association. With a dedication to innovation and a commitment to excellence, I continually strive to push the boundaries of design, education, and culinary arts in all my endeavors.

Our collaboration centered around the “Organic Lunch Box” series, particularly the Summer Tomato with Rice, a product crafted from our organically grown, sun-ripened tomatoes, combined with high-quality Greek rice. This ready-to-eat meal reflects the rich flavors of the Greek summer and is a testament to our commitment to organic, sustainable farming.The documentary, directed by Marianna Economou, goes beyond showcasing our innovative farming practices—like playing Wagner’s music to enhance tomato growth—and delves into the challenges and triumphs of rural life in modern Greece. My role in the film highlighted our efforts to bring these high-quality, organic products to international markets, including a key collaboration with clients in Belgium.“When Tomatoes Met Wagner” has received widespread acclaim, including being Greece’s official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 92nd Academy Awards. The film resonates with global audiences, drawing attention to the importance of preserving traditional farming methods, supporting local economies, and promoting sustainable agriculture on a global scale.
