My role at Honey Can Do supports and serves approximately 190 people (120 employees, 50 contract workers and 20 employees in Shanghai), supporting the distribution of housewares products to all major retailers. My role supported and served over 1300 employees in 19 high-performing schools across Chicago. Specifically, I oversaw the Human Resources function at Noble, which included employee relations, compensation & benefits, onboarding, policy writing, payroll, talent management and recruitment and teacher credential compliance. I was the first HR professional hired at Noble in 2008 when there were 5 schools and 135 employees. When I left, the organization had 19 schools and 1300 employees, and I was managing a team of 10 HR and payroll professionals.Company Awards- Illinois' largest and most successful charter school network- 2015 Broad Prize for Top Public Charter School Network in the U.S.

My role as Corporate HR Officer was primarily consultative and analytical in nature. I had responsibility for leading 22 Wintrust subsidiaries and their local HR staffs in various HR-related issues including compensation, employee relations, recruitment, employment law, benefits and policy administration. My larger projects included building and conducting 70+ open enrollment presentations at renewal, implementing Wintrust's first HRIS, managing the annual compensation review process, delivering Wintrust's first Affirmative Action plan and developing and delivering performance coaching seminars to over 200 managers. When I started at Wintrust, there were approximately 450 employees across Chicagoland and I was the second corporate HR person hired. During my time, Wintrust quickly expanded to 2200 employees and the corporate HR team doubled in size.
