I was responsible for outsourcing a 3Pl to consolidate the operations of four warehouses into one centralised location as part of the ten years business strategy; the project was worth $17.5M. By outsourcing a centralised distribution centre, I managed to close four operational facilities, resulting in standardizing of operational processes across the business, delivering efficiency across the teams and supply chain, reducing administrative tasks, and enabling the business to work on SAP systems optimization. I was also responsible for setting up a distribution centre for the northern region. The project consisted of fitting the location to accommodate the materials, creating an operational plan, setting up materials demand, and monthly replenishment.
