CurrentResponsible for building and scaling Fastly’s first talent management function to define talent strategy, improve talent planning, and drive high performance. Sample highlights include:• Implemented Fastly’s first end-to-end performance management process to better align work to business strategy, deliver Workday capabilities (goals, feedback, reviews), and improve collective performance. Resulted in improved goal cascade and alignment, increased frequency of performance and development conversations (from 1x/year to 4x/year), and more fair and equitable performance reviews. • Delivered company-wide “Fast Feedback” training to 700+ employees. Resulted in ~90% of employees reporting the training helped them learn how to give actionable feedback and ~90% of employees reporting they received actionable feedback in their next performance check-in. • Redesigned Fastly’s promotion philosophy, criteria, and process to improve rigor in talent planning. This work reduced the overall effort required, brought Fastly’s promotion rate to within range of industry benchmarks, and improved the manager and employee experience.• Implemented Fastly’s first ever critical roles review, resulting in improved management, talent planning, and development of the talent segment that is most impactful to Fastly’s strategy execution.
