But where I earned my business tactics and skills comes from my investment in sports businesses. This field has taken me to Oklahoma, Florida, Nevada, a couple remote positions, and back home to Maine. I have seen several markets. While our goals are the same, consumer behavior varies across the country. Since fighting through the door into sports & entertainment, I have loved every moment spent selling sponsorships, building client relationships, constructing elite proposals, and watching my work come to life over and over again. I never saw myself in sales, and avoided it for many years until I was wearing a team branded polo and standing at home plate looking up at a wall of endless signs. I thought, "I want to point to one of those and tell people that's my client." So, I did it. I get great career satisfaction when I make a sale, execute a flawless activation, overhear a fan talk about that one particular asset, and of course - generate revenue. Partnership Marketing allows me to be innovative and develop new assets that can be traditional or interactive.
