- Assist in the management of the product development process of various categories according to the brand standards for design, quality, fit, sustainability, pricing structure and margins.- Accountable for ensuring all development deadlines are met, fabric and trims sourcing and developments, - Other tasks: oversee colour standards, prints and embroidery developments, creation of all tech packs, create and maintain the development sampling tracker/costings, ensure the successful completion of CADs, build a coherent and balanced manufacturing structure, nurturing relationships with kulani suppliers, while introducing new suppliers when required, help create quality, fit and finish consistency for the products, ensure target margins are achieved and improved upon, management of potential quality issues or risks at all stages, management of development and sampling budgets.

- Block Library and Grading Rules. Manage and update current block library and grading rules being used. This includes refitting main styles currently being produced if necessary.- Create and maintain product tech packs ensuring garment construction methods and trims are accurate.- Other tasks: updating BOMs and POMs, providing strong technical advice, quality assurance, maintaining the fit photo library, samples quality check, manage preliminary fabric testing, review and record results in digital fabric library ahead of production handover, review all PPs and size sets, checking size, trims, colours and finishes are correct for bulk production, ensure effective workflow according to the critical path.

• Analyse development designs and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of new projects.• Collaborate with creative staff to develop new weekly products• Participate with the engineering of pattern from prototypes to production.• Establish all technical packs for new sports active range for production in China, Bangladesh and Vietnam • Coordinate the manufacturing of prototype products; liaising with local Australian and off shore factories for development.• Attend and action all fit sessions• Review all existing styles are refit to ensure a brand standard is meet.• Consult with models; receiving directions on fits and shapes • Prioritise and maintain records of elements and time schedules of projects.• Supervise and coordinate the local production of the core and fashion ranges • Establish Quality control key points throughout local production check points• Build and maintain supplier contacts within the industry

• Liaise with Sales team to ensure accurate and detailed Design packs are clearly marked and understood, enabling supplier to deliver accurate well fitting samples first time • Initiate size specifications for each Development styles, adding value at every stage, to ensure all size specs, bra cups/wires, construction details and design sketch are correct and updated where necessary, to ensure smooth Development and Production • Determine Bra grades as per cup size, mould and wire sizes• Access fabric, moulded cups, bra wires and embellishment limitations and discuss any complicated Technical issues with Account Manager to ensure issues are recognised and resolved early. • Attend fit sessions with customer and model and advise clear detailed fit comments, including sketches and photos to supported comments and clarify points where necessary. • Review fit samples and comments (if any) after fitting to ensure all amendments have been actioned from previous fit.• Prioritise and maintain records of alterations and time schedules of projects.• Develop key fitting blocks for consistency for customers• Ensure all garment are measured back to spec and report any problems to Far East Suppliers• Ensure quality standards are meet for each customer’s requirements

• Head of the technical team within Australia for the creation and development of prototypes patterns and graded size set patterns, in addition to the Aqua Lab team for implementation of new advancements in performance swimwear.• Analyse designs and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of projects.• Participate with the engineering of pattern from prototype sheets.• Coordinate the manufacturing of prototype products; liaising with Far East factories for specifications and development.• Plan and execute experimental test programs.• Review test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.• Collaborate with technical staff, and work closely with the sports marketing team.• Manage the organisation of swimwear outfitting requirements for Swimming Australia.• Consult with athletes; receiving instructions and ideas and working with them to formulate concepts.• Attend camps and events to oversee outfitting.• Prioritise and maintain records of elements and time schedules of projects.• Build and maintain contacts within the industry; actively networking.• Enhance vendor relationships for the supply of high quality components; managing the gold seal process.• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maching staff; undertaking performance appraisals and providing training.
