Dabbled in Small Business ownership by supporting a creative agency's internal operations and with client support. As an Account Manager, I was the trusted partner to a dynamic entrepreneur, supporting her with strategic prioritization and operational efficiency. I developed a $7MM proposal for the Buffalo Bills to oversee their stadium construction Compliance program.

Designed, developed, and deployed a global, customer risk rating framework. This initiative decoupled a decades-worth of commingled requirements to satisfy regulators, internal stakeholders, and partners. Eliminated blunt thresholds that caused customers friction and stunted business growth.

Oversaw Remitly's enablement of crypto exchanges to payout via our disbursement network, while expanding to a lending-based product. I identified and championed new Compliance structures to offer these products and collaborated with the BD/Sales teams on the customer requirements and implications.

Built and launched the compliance program for Remitly's second product, Passbook by Remitly (a debit card designed for US immigrants). As the board designated Compliance Officer, I partnered with the Sponsor Bank and Product Teams to establish over 200k customers. Oversaw the implementation of ACH debit origination, Mobile Check Deposit, cash deposit via Greendot, and Fraud/AML monitoring.

Analyzed, prioritized, and implemented company-wide Compliance policies and products to reduce customer friction, while strengthening the global Compliance program. Re-wrote the EU/UK KYC policy and partnered with the product team to implement the revised policy, which increased electronic verification by 150% to create product market fit.

Exported the Labs secret sauce to the lines of business. My team evaluated, tested, and built a suite of products and programs to enable visiting teams to grow, learn, and develop next-generation product in record time.

Led the Product Operations team at Capital One Labs, an experimental product and technology arm of Capital One. Removed roadblocks and reinvented processes to rapidly ship products to customers in a heavily regulated environment.

Promoted three times in five years. Managed a team of 4 Analysts with a focus on Operations M&A, beta testing, and call-center analysis.

Reduced committed contractual spend by $1.5MM. Reverse engineered several MRI parts, assisted in contract negotiations, and amended 40+ contracts with improved safety provisions. Oh, and most importantly, I learned air conditioning is crucial while living in South Carolina.
