About Kellen Moss
My name is Kellen Moss, I am a rising sophomore at Hampton University studying Journalism with a minor in sports management, from Atlanta, GA. My skills include being a good writer, communicator, and creative thinker, as well as being a fluent Spanish speaker and collaborating and getting along with my peers. I aspire to become a sports broadcaster, be on a sports show/create my own sports podcast, be a sports commentator for the NBA, or work for an NBA franchise broadcasting in front of the camera. Some of my passions are college and professional sports (mainly basketball), whether watching, writing, or talking about it, community service, creative writing, and researching NBA players and their stats. My passion for broadcasting stems from watching countless NBA games on TV, including big sports events like the NBA playoffs and NBA Finals, events like the Super Bowl in football, and the Final Four college basketball tournament. Sports is something that has been ingrained in me since I was a kid, as I played many sports and I hope to see myself in the sports industry in the future When it comes to Journalism and Broadcasting, I enjoy writing about topics I’m interested in like sports and entertainment, when it comes to broadcasting I like talking in front of the camera, besides my passion for sports and entertainment. I also find interviewing people interesting because I enjoy learning about people's stories, their lives, how they grew up, and different things like that.
