K9 Handler-Dual Purpose. Patrol and Explosives-Train and develop K9 partner in obedience, agility, search techniques, and explosives detection, maintaining peak performance levels.-Conduct regular drills and exercises to keep K9 partner sharp and responsive in high-stress situations.-Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and security personnel to support operations and investigations involving explosives detection.-Utilize K9 partner's expertise in searching buildings, vehicles, and open areas for explosives and suspicious materials.-Respond to bomb threats and other emergency situations, deploying K9 partner to assess and mitigate potential threats.-Document K9 activities, findings, and training progress, maintaining accurate records for reporting and analysis.-Collaborate with K9 unit members and other law enforcement personnel to share knowledge, best practices, and resources.
