Instructed a semester-long laboratory section of an Astronomy course. Prepared and reviewed all lab materials. Graded lab reports for all students in the section.

Supervised a staff of roughly 40 employees. Trained new employees on educational programs and Smithsonian regulations.Learned and demonstrated 25 different educational interactions on subjects ranging from the science of flight to the history of space travel.

Created Matlab program to model interacting spins in a magnetic field. Based off of research done at the Joint Quantum Institute.Collected data from model to show that phase transitions of the quantum system occurs at an effective temperature, mapping it to the classical Ising Model.Presented results to students and faculty of Physics Department.

Created astronomy lab course for American University’s Physics Department for the 2015-2016 academic year.Acted as Teaching Assistant for astronomy course and oversaw implementation of lab.
