I was initially hired in at 2Fog's Pub to work in the kitchen because they needed kitchen staff. But I wanted to get behind the bar. Within a few short months I was able to prove myself and have moved out of the kitchen to work behind the bar. Often times I run the bar alone until later in the day when other coworkers arrive to handle the dinner crowd. My job revolves around making drinks and serving them while paying close attention to how much has been served to each person to make sure they are not having too much too quickly. When I am not making and serving drinks or food, I am often doing prep work, inventory, cleaning, restocking, and reorganizing to help with efficiency. If an issue arises with a customer or a drink, I make sure to take the necessary steps to rectify the issue make sure that customer satisfaction is at the forefront.

During my internship at Flagstar Bank, I was primarily tasked with working on monthly and quarterly audits to ensure that reports were ready to present to executives to ensure that the bank was in compliance. Other duties included reaching out to other departments to coordinate the retrieval of documentation for the required audits, ensuring data within documents was correct, as well as contributing to audit centered meetings to ensure information was clearly communicated. The end of my internship was set to end in early August of 2023, but I was asked to stay with Flagstar and continue working with the Risk Analysis team while continuing my studies. With school returning at the end of August, I will continue my time at Flagstar bank part time for the foreseeable future.

I was initially hired in at tropical smoothie as a general employee. The jobs I was often tasked with was taking orders, handling cash from customers, making smoothies, making food, cleaning, and doing prep work for the day ahead if working in the morning. After about 2 years I was old enough to be a shift lead/manager and was granted the role.While in a more management position, my main tasks (in addition to previously mentioned duties) were to manage a small team of 5 or so employees, count the till/money at the end of the shift, make sure the store was clean, take and put away deliveries, as well as handle any potential issues that may arise. One of my main goals was to make sure that my coworkers/employees were treated fairly as I found that happy employees are hard working employees. But above employee satisfaction, I made sure that customer satisfaction was the main priority not only for me, but for the other employees. If an issue with anything was brought to my attention by a customer, I made sure to rectify it however I could to ensure that customer retention stayed high.
