I enjoy creating things in the digital and physical worlds to help simplify and enhance people's lives. From one-on-one interactions to speaking in front of large audiences, I seek opportunities to help inform and inspire those around me.Since 2002, I focused these passions towards a technical background in IT systems. I took advantage of academic and professional opportunities to explore multiple IT disciplines including: --computer network technologies --cloud-based solutions --knowledge management --big data & analytics --systems analysis & design --solution implementation & support --remote/mobile data capture --drone/UAV technologies During that time, I also gained a global business perspective in a multi-national corporation, as part of the business, working with the company’s global IT resources to deliver solutions, and I recently completed a 4-year business degree to formalize that knowledge. Through this combined business and IT experience, I believe my strength in bridging the gap between the two through effective communication and clear expectations has allowed the business to identify requirements that resonate with IT resources and effectively set the business expectations on how IT can meet those requirements.I will continue to explore new technologies, learn different business disciplines, and discover new connections between the two that help leverage new opportunities in the international and domestic markets.
