Ron Keller is a Chicago native who has been in E&S property and casualty underwriting since 1998. Mr. Keller started his career with an exclusive Lloyds Correspondent in Chicago. He was quickly promoted to write Liquor Liability and then a Hospitality package program. A few years later, the company was acquired, and Mr. Keller ran the Chicago office and region for various Lloyds and Domestic binding authorities. Some of those were exclusive to Mr. Keller and the Chicago office. He was one of three wholesale brokers appointed in the Midwest region on one notable facility.After 15 years at AES, RSC/One80 acquired the company, and Mr. Keller continued to manage various binding authorities and lead the Midwest and West Regions for that business. In 2021, Mr. Keller received an offer from the carrier side and was keen to make a change due to the hardened market. He held underwriting positions at IFG Companies (Burlington Insurance Company) and Ascot Group U.S. (Ascot Specialty Insurance Company). Mr. Keller is currently Director of Underwriting & Operations, Casualty Group at Tokio Marine HCC in its Columbus, OH office. He is responsible for the ArtisanEdge programs, with oversight of the staff in both Sacramento & Columbus offices.Ronald O. Keller has the following designations from The Institutes & IRMI, respectively: Associate in Commercial Underwriting-Management (AU-M), Associate in Surplus Line Insurance (ASLI), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Accredited Customer Service Representative-Commercial (ACSRC), Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Manufacturing Risk Insurance Specialist (MRIS), Transportation Risk Insurance Professional (TRIP). Mr. Keller has also received certifications from WSIA for their Marcus Payne Advanced E&S Program and Consultative Selling & Negotiations Program.
