I am the first point of contact for clients in the company. I accept print and graphic design jobs, check print jobs for errors and complete the job by printing. I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and I have experience doing high resolution scanning and retouching of high value artworks as well as old and damaged film negatives.My duties are as follows:- Design, setup of print jobs, basic retouching and editing.- Printing of both archival quality prints on high end papers and canvas as well as commercial posters, banners, canvas, stickers.- High resolution scanning of high value artworks, photographs, micro fiche slides and photographic film and the retouching of the scanned images or artworks.- General office duties such as quoting, invoicing as well as managing stock levels.

A good product knowledge on an extensive stock base was imperitive for this position as was good communication and interpersonal skills. I gained experience on customer service as well as upselling items in store and I ran a number of art workshops. My duties are as follows:- Merchandising, creating sale displays.- Doing art demonstrations live in store.- Regular stock take and ordering and receiving of stock.- Cashier duties as well as cash up and lock up.- Researching new products as well as testing them.- Creating promotional slideshows that were displayed in store.

Part time work during school holidays and on weekends - later during university holidays. I gained experience on Pastel Accounting, merchandising and in-store sales.My duties are as follows:- Merchandising, creating sale displays.- Serving customers at the till and advising on products.- Motorbike Deliveries- During the University strikes in 2016 I did some sales rep work for the new branch that opened in Stutterheim.
