CurrentIFBT.Farm is an online web application allowing corn, soybean and wheat farmers across the U.S. develop crop year budgets and to analyze and manage their farm's financial risks. The application demonstrates to the farmer the farm's anticipated crop year profitability in both a base case budget and sensitized to unknown future harvest prices and yields. The IFBT.Farm application simultaneously computes static and sensitized results taking into account the impact of all of the farm's risk management decisions. These include the impact on profitability of the farm's crop acreage allocations, marketed and un-marketed grain, fixed and variable costs of production, crop insurance choices including computed premiums and indemnities, title program selections and calculated farm subsidy payments, and land rental arrangements -- all determined simultaneously across a wide range of potential future harvest prices and farm yields. The application can be used in the planning phases of the crop year to allow the farmer to readily test various alternative assumptions and visualize the impact on the farm's financial risk profile. The application also automatically updates daily for current market prices and USDA -RMA and WASDE releases, such that the farmer can see anticipated profitability and the range of profit outcomes on a real time basis over the entire course of the crop year. IFBT stands for Integrated Farm Budget Tool and is available for use for free at IFBT.Farm
