Michigan Central is an ambitious new development centered on mobility innovation, catalyzed by Ford Motor Company. This 30-acre district, anchored in the restoration of Detroit’s historic train station, is creating a first-of-its kind ecosystem in which the best global innovators from industry, government, education, non-profit, and startups will collaborate, thereby enhancing the region’s leadership in economic and social mobility. As Senior Business Operations Manager, I will grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures and enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity. In this role I will work with Michigan Central’s leadership team to advance company-wide goals, support strategic projects, and manage a range of internal operational activities.

The Detroit Land Bank Authority’s (DLBA) mission is the restoration and revitalization of approximately 95,000 vacant, abandoned, and foreclosed Detroit properties; returning them to productive use. Directing the Operations & Administration teams consisting of HR, Client Services, Office and Property Management, IT, eCommerce, UX, and Salesforce professionals. Identify and leading strategic transformation initiatives and implementation of new operational practices and procedures achieving enterprise-wide system improvement and scalability. Spearheading strategic government and private stakeholder partnerships yielding new revenue streams and executing organization mission.

Oversaw day-to-day operations, identifying and implementing best practices and process improvement to streamline and enhance coordinated services across the organization.
