Board members represent the franchise owners interests during the board meetings and work with the home office executive team by providing input for various company matters.

The Bridal Association of the Brazos Valley is a volunteer operated, member owned, non-profit organization of local wedding professionals who work together to promote buying local when planning a wedding or event.

This organization is dedicated to the brides-to-be of the Brazos Valley. Through our membership website, the brides (and grooms!) to be are able to access a wide variety of resources to help plan their perfect weddings and honeymoons. I have served many couples that I have met through my participation in this organization. As an advisory board member of this new organization I provide detailed feedback on possible DWHSA programs and projects. My position in this organization will allow me to not only stay on top of the latest trends in this segment of travel, but to also be an influencer in the direction of the organization and membership. Among some of the projects under consideration are starting a certification program and launching consumer promotion campaigns in 2014 to help DWHSA members find more leads for their businesses.

I am an active member of the Grimes St. Joseph Healthcare Council. Through my role as a Trustee, I proudly assist in reviewing the business practices, policies and procedures of the Hospital to ensure profitability. My work on the Council is driven by a need to ensure that our community healthcare needs are met.Throughout the year I participate on the local performance improvement committee meetings and last year I co-chaired an important fundraising event which resulted into growing awareness for the Hospital and contributing funds for patient room upgrades.I am a strong supporter of community participation and proudly serve when needed to ensure the best quality of living for my fellow community members.
