I work as the Admission Manager for two graduate programs 2U supports in partnership with Simmons University. I manage a team of 6 Admission Counselors as we recruit students for 5 different start dates each calendar year. I work closely with a variety of operational stakeholders, university partners and stakeholders, as well as departmental leadership to drive enrollment growth across my programs. In the time I have been in the role, one of my programs had its first upward moving enrollment projection curve in over 2 years. I spend much of my time on process improvement and documentation, working with Finance and Sales Ops to understand pacing and where we can identify areas of opportunity, and driving my team towards efficiency and towards upcoming enrollment goals.

In this role, I act as the lead on my team for supporting students within two distinct graduate programs at Simmons University. I work with and coach MBA and MPH students, and have served as the primary leader and liaison between both of these programs and the 2U Student Success department. I have been the sole individual working with MPH students throughout onboarding and the rest of their student life cycle. This includes conducting regular programmatic and technology training sessions over the Zoom platform, developing in-depth training materials and resources, holding regular coaching calls with students, and working closely with Academic Advising and other Simmons stakeholders in communicating important information to students. I regularly hold collaborative sessions for SSAs to come together and give feedback and get to know each other across Simmons teams. I am also part of the 2U Denver Office’s Social Committee, where I take the lead on developing engaging and fun communications to be sent to the office regarding various events and activities. I recently achieved an NPS rating of 75, which is considered world class service. My passion for developing relationships has been a great fit for this role while being able to deliver on the best student experience possible for one of the company’s most complex partners.

In this role, I stepped in to fully manage 3 University partner programs while my team’s manager was on maternity leave. I managed two Student Success Specialists in addition to a full caseload of students and Manager duties. Manager duties included credit and LOA forecasting, collaborating with University and 2U stakeholders, implementing initiatives to positively impact the student experience, coaching students and my team members, and working with the finance department to perform bottom’s up analyses and budget for all three programs. I also wrote and delivered reviews for the two Success Advisors on my team. I received an “exceeds expectations” review for my performance of Manager duties and positive changes made to my team, in addition to my regular duties as an SSA II.

As a Student Success Advisor for 2U, I coach and provide guidance for Graduate students in four different programs at Simmons College. I work with students from their onboarding into the program until their graduation. In addition, I work with Simmons College and their Academic Advising and Admissions teams to ensure that all processes in place that impact students are as efficient and effective as possible.

In my role with the Bank, I managed three centralized operations teams and around 30 staff members. My focus was on operations management, including data analysis and research, process analysis and improvement, product management and creating proposals and presentations for efficiency creation within various processes. I also assisted with the coordination of events and activities for everywhere from 10-1,000 people, employee engagement programs and morale boosting initiatives.

I worked in the Pepsi Center's Partnership Marketing & Media Sales department to assist with promotional events, media relations with corporate sponsors, and game day activities. I put together presentations for account executives and managed and maintained various in-game promotional activities.

Macy's Loveland is one of the most successful stores in the region. I worked to meet personal, departmental and store wide sales, credit and promotional goals to ensure our success. I became a certified bra-fit specialist and a team lead in my department. I was recognized as a "Macy's Extreme Star" every month of employment, with recognition based on sales goals.

I worked with the rest of the marketing team at the events center to create ad campaigns, assist in sales, and work behind the scenes at events. Experience included: press releases, Neolane email blasting, beta website work, marketing research and event staffing.

I served as a mentor and a resource for a floor of 80+ freshman business majors. I put on academic and social programs and events, helped the students to network with faculty, alumni and potential employers and helped make their first year experiences the best they could be at UNC. I also provided academic tutoring and advising for the students.
