About Kelley Mitchell

A shoulder tap - that’s literally all it took to realize I was destined for a “people – first” career. Little did I know it would fuel a lifelong passion for helping people to bring their best selves to work each day. I tapped into my negotiation skills early on in my career working as a Human Resource Manager in the food manufacturing industry, as I learned to communicate amicably and successfully to resolve workforce challenges collaborating within three different unions. Fast forward to today, and I’m motivating diverse teams to own their development and live organizational values to make the greatest impact they can on the people they serve.Working in healthcare during COVID has enabled us to rise to the occasion and together, navigate changes, while never losing focus of why we do what we do each day and that we are all here to serve.From employee engagement to change management to enhancing organizational culture and improving operational efficiency, this has been my call. I embrace challenge, culture and change to lead the way for others to shine. I strategize plans and help execute them, teaming closely with operations.Throughout my career, I have utilized a common-sense approach and served as a consultant and reliable sounding board for senior leaders to enable sound decision-making in the manufacturing and healthcare industries. I’m able to cut through the clutter, chaos and day to day challenges and find creative solutions in partnership with line operations and senior management while being financially astute. I’ve had the pleasure of serving with senior leaders and Boards of Directors to tackle tough issues related not only to HR and Compliance, but also engaging, invigorating and training diverse teams. I feel most at home designing strategy to develop our resources as well as working with good, smart people side by side to implement strategic, tactical and day to day operational improvements.As a talent management, organizational development and Human Resources advisor, I care about the teams and individuals I serve and am able to encourage them to unlock potential for the future.
