On the strength of her 20+ years of recruitment experience and her great love for connecting people and building lasting relationships, Kelley founded Desmond Search Group in 2021. (If you’re wondering, she named the company after her grandson, one of her other great loves.) Taking the best from both worlds, Kelley’s extensive background in search includes both agency and in-house talent acquisition. Not only has she herself successfully recruited for contract, contract-to-hire, permanent placement and executive search, she’s also effectively led teams, always working to bring out the very best in other recruiters. In fact, prior to launching DSG, Kelley built a highly collaborative and inclusive team while overseeing the implementation of a new recruiting system for a national commercial real estate organization. A homegrown Minnesotan, Kelley received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Finance from Kaplan University. As someone who loves to make meaningful contributions, Kelley has served on fundraising committees and continues to volunteer for both JDRF and St. Jude, works up a sweat for Habitat for Humanity, and has previously served as a steering committee member for the Women’s Inclusion Network.
