Over thirty years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry mean I have worked with some amazing teams and leaders - in operations, new store development, refurbishments and FM. Whilst successfully completing all kinds of diverse projects, leading people to individual and team development is the heart of what I do. It's led me to my true passion of coaching, which I run alongside my property career.I love the fast paced environment of hospitality, finding solutions to a huge variety of challenges. A full career in the industry has given me a deep understanding of how things work and what it takes to manage change. Strategic planning and implementation is key, whilst retaining degrees of flexibility to deal with the unexpected. Thoughtful communication has been a key to team successes.Alongside this, I get to slow the pace down with my coaching clients. Head Of Refurbishments
• I have led the design and fit out of around 350 stores, from small refreshes to complete re-design projects. I set and deliver budgets, lead program management, ensure quality and safety. In design & build we drive the brand forward whilst delivering functional stores that are easy to run and profitable• We enlist a framework of external contractors and consultants, and deliver to our internal customers as well as 3rd party clients in airports or concession stores• I also deliver ad hoc projects across a large estate of 600+ stores - from new food programs to COVID-safe in-store measures
Development Project Manager
Whilst completing my RICS post-graduate diploma in Project Management, I delivered over 100 new store projects, specialising in airports. This included the completion of 3 prestigious and challenging Heathrow T2 projects, from design and approval stage all the way to operational completion. I also successfully managed our design manual and dilapidation programs

My team opened around 250 new Caffè Nero's in this time, managing the recruitment, training and functional design of the new stores. I lead the team to deliver Nero Express, from concept to 12 store estate in 6 months, and helped introduce Caffe Nero to a new territory in Northern Ireland.
