Contract EmployeeGotcha Aug 2017 - Aug 2018Auburn, Alabama, United StatesI began working for the Gotcha Group right at the beginning of the service being offered. When I began, there were zero users of the service. Within 2 months, I had helped grow it to over 1000 students served each week. This was done through explaining to students information about the service and handing out business cards with information on them. One of my major responsibilities is training new employees on routes and cart use so they can operate them alone and bring in new users to grow the cart service. The drivers have a lot of freedom, which also means a lot of responsibilities, so I had to instill in them the nature of being a safe and responsible driver. A major aspect of this job is the golf carts and if anything happens to them, I would not be able to work. I maintained carts so each cart would continue to run properly, so myself and other drivers would be able to run them for our shifts. I also worked with mechanics to improve each cart and keep each running since these carts needed to be able to run daily for at least four hours, while also averaging giving 50 people a ride a day. -
