Currently, I am the deputy personal finance editor for CNBC Digital. Previously, I was a senior editor for Grow, a joint venture between CNBC and Acorns. I have also worked as a personal finance reporter for CNBC.com, and the senior consumer reporter at MarketWatch and SmartMoney. My work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, and Family Circle, among other publications. I hold a master’s degree in personal financial planning from Kansas State University, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and anthropology from Ithaca College.
