A lifelong learner whose path began as a student at KSU, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with emphasis in Health Promotion. During her time at KSU she was active in campus life, including in the Kinesiology Student Association (KSA), Pi Beta Phi Beta sorority, the marching band’s Classy Cats and all sports events.A competitive tennis player, she was a National Champion in World Team Tennis in 2013 and 2020.She was the Missouri Valley Heart of America Adult Player of the Year in 2015. No longer actively competing in USTA and WTT, she instead has become a devoted pickleball player. Immediately upon graduating, Kelli enjoyed the opportunity to work as a cheerleader for the KC Chiefs. Her love of sports, health and helping people combined to lead her into a decades-long career in personal training. She began with The Firm Athletic Club. Worked 14 years with Will Shields Inside Sports and is currently personal training at Top Flight Performance. Her current endeavor, as Senior VP of Engagement for the rapidly growing Chicken N Pickle (CNP) franchise, combinesher love of athletics, people, communication and competition. A member of the CNP senior management team, Kelli’s responsibilities include oversight of community relations, marketing, pickleball, partnerships, employee engagement and national growth. The company now boasts 6 locations and more than1500 employees,with plans to open in four additional locations by the early 2023. On a personal note, Kelli is co-founder of Jamie’s Wish Foundation and the Chicken and Pickle Foundation, and serves on the board of directors for Cristo Rey High School and the KSU Kinesiology Advisory Board. She was chosen to deliver the KSU Commencement Speech this past May. She is married to Andrew and has three children, whose sports and activities keep her in constant motion.
